Graphic Lounge is a new graphic design venture founded by leading Australian publication designer Peter Schofield. His portfolio experience includes designing and managing the production of The Age, Sydney Morning Herald and brisbanetimes Good Food Guides for a number of editions; working with wine-making pioneer, Wolf Blass, on his 75th anniversary biography; producing the Learning From Legends book series for John Eales' Mettle Group, plus designing and producing books for Tourism Tasmania and South Australian Tourism Commission. He has also designed a wide range of cookbooks, true crime (including best seller Born or Bred?), plus self help and financial books. In recent years he has contributed graphic assets to a number of smartphone apps parallel to their parent books.

Peter has also worked as a senior newspaper designer at The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Herald Sun – designing many newspaper sections and a wide range of specialist liftout magazines and art directed the influential national news magazine The Independent Monthly throughout its life. He was also the deputy art director of Business Review Weekly.

He now brings his wealth of experience to his new project, Graphic Lounge, based in Elsternwick, Melbourne.
